  • Fragrance-free.
  • Provides broad-spectrum sun protection.
  • Good shade range.
  • Light shade is actually vey light and might suit even the pals skin, it is a bit too light for me which does not happen often.
  • SPF 30
  • skin feels moisturised after application
  • light to medium coverage
  • best for normal to oily skin not prone to break out.

[/sm_column_text][sm_custom_heading heading_tag=”h4″]Cons[/sm_custom_heading][sm_column_text]

  • Goes on and feels somewhat thick, rather than smooth and lightweight.
  • Considering the hype, the formula doesn’t have as many beneficial ingredients as it could.
  • Doesn’t distinguish itself as a must-have product; lots of liquid foundations are easier to blend and look better on skin.
  • might highlight light pores
  • takes time to apply
  • the finish is shiny not glowy

[/sm_column_text][sm_custom_heading heading_tag=”h4″]Summary[/sm_custom_heading][sm_column_text]You are probably wondering what is the difference between  CC creams and BB creams.  The truth is there is  not much of a difference. It is great marketing gimmick though.  Usually, a BB cream is considered to be a tinted moisturiser, while a CC cream is more like a liquid foundation.  They are a twist to a tinted moisturises which are available on the market for a while now.

BB and CC creams in general provide some sort of sun protection. BB and CC creams might but don’t always have to include beneficial ingredients. The really high quality BB and CC creams do contain beneficial and skin improving ingredients.

Clinique’s CC cream provides broad-spectrum sun protection of SPF 30 from a mix of mineral and synthetic actives. The synthetic actives might irritate the skin around the eye area so I would avoid putting the cream too close to my eyes.

This CC cream contains nothing that is all that corrective.

The texture is creamy and a lot thicker than most foundations and BB creams I have used before, which isn’t the best for a smooth application.  It’s workable with  a bit of effort.

Clinique’s CC cream provides light to medium coverage and is best for normal to dry skin not prone to breakouts.

The shade selection is very good. I am using the shade very light and it is a little bit too light for me which I don’t mind to much. It doesn’t oxidises on my skin. I have oily skin so I need to powder it a couple of times throughout the day but other than that it is an ok CC cream.  To be honest I don’t thinkI will repurchase it as I have better foundations that suit my skin better and the thick formula really bothers me.[/sm_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
