Hello Everyone!  Time flies by so quickly another day gone, and I am … late again with my post today.  Got really distracted by The Handmaid’s Tale TV series. I got sucked into their world and now thinking about reading the book that the TV show is based on. Back to the Joik Calendar. Did you know that if you open all the doors in one day and try to put the products back in their right places, when you actually are looking for the right door on the day it is quite difficult to find it. Lesson learnt. Lads if you ever buy an advent calendar, do try and open one door at a time lol on the correct day 😉

Today I opened  door no 7 of my Joik Advent Calendar 2017. Guess what I found today: JOIK Rose & Red clay Handmade Soap. Yay happy days.

Day 7 – Rose & Red Clay Handmade Soap

This is an oil based handmade soap. It literally starts melting in your hands if you will hold it long enough.  Like all Joik products it is nourishing and very gentle on the skin. It does not contain any harsh cleansing agents.

I use soaps quite a lot. I use them instead of shower gels and hand soaps. A soap with good ingredients works better on my skin than a liquid soap. Your skin will feel very moisturised after using it. I am not sure I would try it on my face. Oh .. did I say that it smells amazing … it does …. it smells like a rose. It has a very pleasant and subtle fragrance that  I can’t imagine anyone disliking.

This damascus rose scented soap smells like a real rose garden!

Red clay gives the soap beautiful swirls and together with selected oils and butters it nurtures tired and stressed skin.

The soap cleans efficiently without drying the skin and provides a nice fluffy lather.

Rose & Red Clay Handmade Soap – Usage

Rub on wet skin to create lather, rinse with clean water. Avoid contact with eyes, if soap gets into the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

Joik rose and clay handmade soap is great even for someone with dry and sensitive skin.  If you haven’t tried it yet … you definitely should 🙂

I can’t find Rose and Red Clay soap on LoveLula website but is available from Joik.
