Joik Advent Calendar Day 11 – Gentle Micellar water

Hello Everyone!  It’s day no 11 of Joik Advent Calendar 2017

Today’s JOIK offering is a 50ml Micellar water. I will be traveling soon so a mini size of a make up remover will come really handy. I haven’t found my perfect way to remove make up. I use GLOV (I think is the most Eco-friendly make up remover), I don’t mind using oils, micellar waters or any other type of make up remover as long as it does not irritate my sensitive eyes. so lets get on with this review.

Day 11 – Micellar water

This product came in a decent size. 50ml will definitely last me for my 10day trip 🙂  I like the smell, mostly because it is barely there. I only use micellar water to remove my eye make up as I wear creams with high SPF and you really need a good oil based cleanser to get that off your face 😉

My everyday make up consists of just a little bit of eye shadow, natural regular mascara and brow shaping products. I think just about any make up remover would work on me.  I like this one because it does not sting my eyes, which happens quite often with other make up removers.

i know a lot of people would just use a little bit of micellar water to remove make up  and put on an eye cream straight after. I always make sure, that whatever I use to remove my make up I will rinse it off, as the cleansing ingredients are not really meant to stay on your face.

Do I think it is a great value for money … No

Will I purchase a full size … No, purely because I think it is too expensive for what it is. to be honest when i went onto LL website to check the price i was a little but surprised with the price. It costs £14.50 per 100ml bottle. I think i could easily use a full bottle in amonth

I already found my favourite. It costs roughly £5.00 per 200ml bottle and works great and smells amazing like a mix of grapes and lavender

JOIK Micellar water 100ml is available from LoveLula for £14.50

Hope you enjoyed my little review.  Have a nice day or evening, … depending on the time you are reading it xx
